The bar top and the perimeter dining room benches serve as the anchor to our space. Our team collaborated with the one and only Michael “Bug” Deakin at Heritage Salvage to preserve and highlight the simplicity and clean lines of this beautiful oak. Bug helped in our selection and fabrication of this beautiful “fallen” valley oak tree. If you find yourself at the corner of the bar, please look closely and you will find a buck shot that provides a snap shot into the history of this great tree. After more than a century we are humbled by its beauty and warmed by its place at 123 Bolinas.

Furniture

The dining room tables and stools create the playful centerpiece for gathering at 123 Bolinas. The partners worked closely with Mike Wilson at Restoration timber to select reclaimed old growth white oak trusses, beams, and barn siding. This material was salvaged from old barns that were not meant to last very long, and have to be taken down. We are pleased to offer this material a new home and allow it to take on a renewed life at 123 Bolinas.
